The Band Returns to the Studio

The original Alice Cooper Group has released a new video for their song “Wild Ones.” The footage was captured during studio sessions for their upcoming album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper, which is set to come out on July 25.

This album brings together all the surviving band members: Alice Cooper, guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith. It’s their first album together since Muscle of Love in 1973. Fans will also hear late guitarist Glen Buxton on the track “What Happened To You,” which uses demo riffs he recorded years ago.

Recreating Their Old Sound

The new song shows that the band hasn’t lost their energy. “Reuniting five decades after their rise to fame, the band channels the chaos, danger, and cool of their early days, a time when rock was feared, eyeliner was scandalous, and every show felt like a revolution. ‘Wild Ones’ is the sound of the Alice Cooper Group with their engines roaring, still loud, still dangerous, and still not asking for permission.”

The Revenge of Alice Cooper was produced by Bob Ezrin, who also worked with the band during their early years. The group had already released another song, “Black Mamba,” back in April.

Video by Banger Films

The “Wild Ones” video was filmed by Banger Films, a company known for their rock documentaries. They previously made Super Duper Alice Cooper in 2014. The new video hints that more might be coming, possibly a new film to follow the band’s return.

The upcoming album is available now for pre-order and will be released in different formats.
