A Piece of Rock ‘n Roll History

You know, if you have around $4.5 million lying around, you might want to buy this stunning country estate fit for a rockstar.

Aerosmith’s Joe Perry is selling his gated Duxbury property, which is known as Brook Haven Farm. He lived here for over three decades, moving in in 1988. Located at 1405 Tremont St., near the Marshfield line, this seven-acre estate boasts of 14 bedrooms, a rooftop garden, a three-stall barn, three fireplaces, a gym, a high-tech media room, a billiards room, and as a nod to Perry’s legendary axeslinging skills, there’s a heated pool in the shape of a guitar.

Another incredible feature is called Boneyard, Perry’s own basement studio. It’s rich in history because it’s where Aerosmith recorded much of the material for their 2001 album “Just Push Play” and 2004 LP “Honkin’ on Bobo.” Perry and his bandmates, particularly Steven Tyler, penned some of their classic hits in this home to – songs such as “Cryin’,” “Fever” and “Livin’ on the Edge”. Perry even recorded three of his solo albums in the Boneyard.

Perry’s crib also welcomed several guests like Desmond Child, Diane Warren, Lenny Kravitz, and of course, the legendary Johnny Johnson, Chuck Berry’s piano player.
