When you’re AC/DC, even an acoustic set manages to rock just as hard as a full electric experience. Where most bands try to soften the blow both vocally and musically, AC/DC pulled absolutely zero punches when they stopped by The Howard Stern Show in 2003 to perform ‘You Shook Me All Night Long,’ delivering a performance that even in its stripped down, scaled back form will make you want to get up and dance. Flanked by the talents of Young brothers Angus and Malcolm, singer Brian Johnson leads Howard Stern’s control room on a rowdy sing-a-long – and as great as he is, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t get a tremendous kick out of Artie Lange turning ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ into a duet when signaled to sing a verse!

Fun Fact: This was AC/DC’s first single to feature Brian Johnson as the band’s lead singer.

It’s a testament both to the band’s professionalism and sheer talent that Angus and Malcolm are able to slide right into the song’s groove nearly effortlessly, supporting Brian before he even knew what to sing; in fact, they’re so in tune that both Angus and Malcolm are actually strumming perfectly in time with each other, never skipping a beat – even while the control room, Brian included, was dissolving into giggles. AC/DC may be one of the hardest rocking bands of all time, but we have to admit: it’s great seeing these legends cut loose and have a good time playing a song that’s kept us singing and dancing for decades!
