AC/DC Performs At The 2015 Grammy Awards | Society Of Rock Videos

A Little Blast From Rock’s Past!

So the Grammy Awards earlier this year threw a bone at its older rock ‘n roll viewers — they had AC/DC kick off the show! The only word to describe that performance is EXPLOSIVE. The band played “Rock or Bust” and of course, the classic hit “Highway To Hell.” It was Stevie Young who stepped in for his uncle Malcolm (who is currently battling dementia) and Chris Slade filled in for Phil Rudd. Of course, Angus Young couldn’t be upstaged what with all his guitar theatrics! And Brian Johnson? Wow, still as powerful as ever! That raspy voice still sounds incredible even after all these years!

2015 marks the 35th anniversary of Back in Black, the band’s first with lead singer Brian Johnson.

With 172,000 copies sold; the “Rock or Bust” album debuted at the top spot on the Billboard’s Top Rock Albums! Only goes to show that Rock ‘n Roll will never grow old!
