Legendary rock band AC/DC appears to be gearing up for an extensive global tour in 2024, with exciting details surfacing during a Munich city council meeting. The band, known for its electrifying performances and iconic sound, is poised to embark on a European tour, making a stop at Munich’s Olympic Stadium on June 12 next year.
The unexpected announcement came from Munich’s Mayor Dieter Reiter during the city council meeting.
Nonchalantly revealing the scheduled performance, Mayor Reiter commented,
“I didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret.”
In addition to the European leg, there are indications that AC/DC will be announcing a massive U.S. Stadium tour. The kickoff for this leg is expected to take place at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. Drummer Phil Rudd, in a recent conversation with New Zealand’s Stuff, hinted at an imminent live performance. Although he did not participate in the festival gig, Rudd expressed his eagerness, stating,
“I’m looking forward to playing with them again in the future.”
