Great guitar skills, and amazing voice!
Earlier this month, rock n’ roll lost one of its legends: Tom Petty. Tom passed away from a sudden massive heart attack last Monday at the age of 66 years old. In the wake of his passing, people have been paying tribute to him through covers, and sharing stories about him.
One of the best covers we’ve found, is this one by 10-year old guitar prodigy Elie Samouhi. Elie dropped into the historic shop Norm’s Rare Guitars, and picked up a rare, classic acoustic guitar, and paid tribute to Tom Petty with an epic cover of “Runnin’ Down A Dream.” Not only does this kid have A+ guitar skills, his voice is pretty phenomenal as well! Tom would definitely be proud of this kid, and it was a beautiful tribute any fan will enjoy.
Check out the awesome cover down below, and let us know what you think! R.I.P., Tom! We miss you!
