“One Way Street” was composed by Steven Tyler for Aerosmith’s eponymous debut album released on January 5, 1973 under Columbia Records. The album received positive reviews and even earned four out of five stars from The Rolling Stone.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic stated that the album clearly showcases all the attributes of the band that would become the defining American hard rock band of the ’70s.

This clearly is one of their most underrated songs but still a crowd favorite. It’s amazing what Tyler can do with that harmonica — incredible skills! Superb performance and Tyler’s voice is simply magical!
