ZZ Top Jams With Slash At The House Blues…With John Mayer!
It’s a guitar shredding battle!
It’s cool enough that ZZ Top performs their hit song “La Grange” on stage with Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash, but it’s John Mayer who steals the show with his incredible face melting guitar solo that would surely leave anyone slack-jawed.
Performing at the House of Blues on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, these immensely talented musicians join together to give their fans a show that was nothing short of amazing. Slash has already made a name for himself in the music world as a pretty accomplished hard rock guitarist and he didn’t hold back in his showing his mad skills off on the stage. Mayer, dubbed as “Slowhand Jr.”, put his Clapton-inspired blues-rock style on his own solo during his turn to shine on the set. No wonder he’s also been hailed as one of the ‘New Guitar Gods’ by Rolling Stone magazine.
Two different guitar gods with each having their own personal style to smashing those solos. Both incredibly amazing in their own right.
