Slappin’ The Bass, Man!

Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Flea, John Entwistle… these are just a few of the names you think of when you ponder the greatest bass players of all time. Along with being locked in with the drummer, as the bass player, your job is to lay down a melodic groove and be the backbone of the band!

This young street performer, Michael Lima, proved that he will one day be among the greats with this unbelievable jam of a classic jazz tune. Lima is performing a freestyle jam of his jazz tune titled “Rei Arthur,” which is translated to “King Arthur.” Lima’s grove is incredible, and everyone immediately whips out a camera and starts filming. We don’t blame him!

Although this isn’t quite classic rock, it’s important to appreciate this kid’s skill and talent. One day he’s going to grow up and be a master of the instrument, and who knows, it might not be long before we are buying a ticket to his show, or his latest album very soon!

Check our Michael’s amazing bass jam down below, and be sure to watch out for him in the future! This kid is going places for sure!
