Wolfgang Van Halen has officially tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Andraia Allsop.

The son of Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli celebrated their wedding with an intimate gathering of 90 close friends and family at their Los Angeles home. They exchanged vows on the eighth anniversary of their first date, October 15, 2015.

The wedding took place in the couple’s living room to maintain privacy and share a special moment with their loved ones. The room was adorned with stained-glass windows and a lovely display of pink and purple flowers. Wolfgang wore a custom three-piece black suit, while Andraia donned a lace gown with long sleeves.

To make the ceremony unique, they chose unconventional flower girls: their grandmothers, who had been flower girls at their parents’ wedding in the early 1990s. A close family friend officiated the ceremony, someone they had known for nearly three decades.

Halen’s Emotional Wedding Tributes to His Late Father

During the ceremony, the couple incorporated touching tributes to Wolfgang’s late father, Eddie Van Halen, who passed away in October 2020. Wolfgang walked down the aisle to a song his father had written for him, “316,” while Andraia chose Dean Martin’s “Everybody Loves Somebody” in honor of one of her favorite performers.

The couple’s vows emphasized the importance of family, and they included an empty chair at the ceremony to represent Eddie Van Halen’s presence. To honor him, Andraia created memory charms with pictures of Wolfgang and his dad for all the guests.

After the vows, everyone moved to the backyard, decorated with string lights and flowers, for dinner and dancing. Wolfgang and Andraia saw their wedding as a celebration not only of their union but also a gathering of cherished friends and family, especially after enduring personal tragedies in recent years.

Though the couple thoroughly enjoyed their big day, they considered marriage a mere formality, as they already felt like a married couple in every meaningful way. For them, home is wherever they are together, whether in a hotel room, a bus, or their own house.

The couple first connected on Instagram in 2015 and met in person during a spontaneous trip around Los Angeles, where they witnessed a sky full of shooting stars, leading them to believe in love at first sight. Despite knowing that Andraia was “the one” from the start, Wolfgang waited six years before proposing.
