Jim Croce, one of the greatest classic rock vocalists and lyricists in the genre, was a true artist and gifted musician. Without any studio help throughout this “Walking Back To Georgia” track, you can hear how natural and beautiful Jim’s voice was.

When comparing this original demo version to a live or recorded studio rendition, there is no difference. Jim was the rare, wonderful talent that only brought his voice and heart to the mic, and unfortunately passed too soon.

Interesting Fact: Before his music career took off, Jim taught special education at Palansky Junior High in Chester, Pennsylvania.
