Whitesnake Release 2022 Remix Of ‘The Deeper Of Love’

Whitesnake are streaming a new 2022 remix of their 1989 power ballad, “The Deeper The Love,” taken from their newly-released and remastered Greatest Hits collection.

“The Deeper The Love,” is initially released as the second single on the band’s 1989 album Slip of the Tongue and reached the US and UK Top 40 hit. The 2022 remastered version of their 1994 Greatest Hits collection also features updated versions of classic tracks like “Still Of The Night,” “Here I Go Again,” and “Is This Love.”

The project focuses extensively on the band’s three hit albums released during the 1980s, Slide It In, 1987’s Whitesnake, and 1989’s Slip Of The Tongue, added with cuts and rarities. Meanwhile, Whitesnake recently cancelled the remaining dates on their European tour due to health issues. David Coverdale stated on social media:

“It is with the deepest sadness that I must announce that due to continuing health challenges, doctor’s orders, and our concern for everyone’s health and safety, Whitesnake is unable to continue its European Farewell Tour.

“I extend my sincere apologies to All of Whitesnake’s Amazing Fans who have been looking forward to the remaining scheduled shows of this tour, All of our Amazing Fabulous Snakes and tour personnel who have been working so hard to put on these shows, and All of the promoters and other professionals who have set up the tour… I Appreciate and Love You All!!!”

The tour was launched on May 10 in Dublin, Ireland and is now scheduled to be followed by a North American tour starting on August 17 in Hampton Beach, NH. Stream their song below.
