In 2016, The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards answered questions submitted by fans – one of which was “If you could only own one guitar, which would it be?”
Watch the video below as he explained his choice.
Meanwhile, since The Rolling Stones had to move their scheduled tour dates because of the pandemic, they have remained pretty active on social media throughout the lockdown – even releasing a new single titled “Living in a Ghost Town” making it their first original song since 2012. It was back in March when Richards called up bandmate Mick Jagger to rush-release the song which they recorded a few months back. They only tweaked the lyrics a bit to reflect the times.
And in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Richards discussed what’s been keeping him busy in his Connecticut home. He said, “I’m feeling very lucky that I have some space so I can get out. And apart from that, man, I managed to [finish] “Ghost Town.” I’m trying to figure out what to do with these tracks we cut [before the pandemic], and if we can do anything else with them in another way, you know?”
He also shared about the new songs he’s working on, “Oh, I don’t know, it’s hard to describe music. I think we have five, six, or seven tracks we’ve sort of slowly been putting together, and right now, as I say, if this thing’s going to go on, maybe we should think about putting them out in another way.”
He’s admitted that he misses being on the road especially since they’re supposed to be touring right now.
