Watch The Legendary AC/DC Rehearse For Their Upcoming Power Trip Festival

AC/DC is offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at their preparations for the Power Trip festival in California next month. The band is getting ready to rock, and they want you to be part of the journey. Watch the video of their rehearsal.

In their own words, AC/DC says:

“PWR UP for Power Trip! Listen to the rehearsal of the boys powering up with Cliff Williams, who’s coming out of retirement for the festival, and Matt Laug on drums.”

Cliff Williams has been a core member of AC/DC since way back in 1977. However, in 2016, he decided to step back from the band after their exhaustive Rock Or Bust world tour. His return to the fold in 2020 for the recording of their Power Up album was an emotional and significant moment for both the band and fans, especially following the tragic loss of co-founder Malcolm Young in 2017.

For this forthcoming festival appearance, AC/DC has enlisted the drumming skills of Matt Laug, whose musical journey has included collaborating with notable artists such as Alanis Morissette, Alice Cooper, and Slash’s Snakepit.

AC/DC, Judas Priest, Metallica, and Tool in One Night

The Power Trip festival is set to kick off on October 6, with opening acts like Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden, creating an electrifying atmosphere from the get-go. AC/DC will then take the stage on October 7, sharing the limelight with Judas Priest in what promises to be an unforgettable night of rock and roll. The festival will conclude on October 8 with powerhouse performances by Metallica and Tool.

AC/DC’s Power Up album made an enormous impact globally, debuting at the number one spot in over 20 countries, including the US and the UK, and maintaining an impressive four-week reign atop the Australian charts.
