During the 2022 CMT Awards, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Slash of Guns N’ Roses teamed up to lead a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Gary Rossington. The performance included an all-star group of musicians, with Gibbons and Slash handling the guitar solos.
