Unbelievable! Johnny Depp Joins Aerosmith Onstage For ‘Train Kept A’Rollin’! | Society Of Rock Videos

21 Jump Street Meets Rock and Roll!

Somehow, rockstars and celebrities seem to go hand in hand – especially if that celebrity is none other than Johnny Depp! In 2012, he was invited to perform with Aerosmith at The Hollywood Bowl for an electrifying performance of Tiny Bradshaw’s blues classic ‘Train Kept A-Rollin’ that made us wonder – why isn’t Johnny Depp doing more musically? He’s amazing!

First recorded in 1951 by jump blues composer and singer Tiny Bradshaw, ‘Train Kept A-Rolling’ has been covered by artists such as Aerosmith, The Yardbirds, and the Johnny Burnette Rock and Roll Trio. Originally performed in the style of a jump blues, it has been reworked into a “classic guitar riff song for the ages”.

The energy on that stage is so incredibly infectious! The combination of the biggest heartthrob since 21 Jump Street and one of the biggest rock bands on the planet seems like almost too much at moments – you don’t know where to look or who to fall in love with first, Steven Tyler or Johnny Depp!

All we know is that this fiery rendition of ‘Train Kept A-Rollin’ made for quite the party onstage that night, and it definitely made for a night that fans would never forget!

Well, on a train, I met a dame,
She rather handsome, we kind looked the same
She was pretty, from New York City
I’m walkin’ down that old fair lane,
I’m in heat, I’m in love,
But I just couldn’t tell her so
I said, train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
With a “heave!”, and a “ho!”
But I just couldn’t tell her so, no, no, no
Well, get along, sweet little woman get along
On your way, get along, sweet little woman get along
On your way,
I’m in heat, I’m in love,
But I just couldn’t tell her so, no, no, no
Well, on a train, I met a dame,
She rather handsome, we kind looked the same
She was pretty, from New York City
I’m walkin’ down that old fair lane,
I’m in heat, I’m in love,
But I just couldn’t tell her so
I said, train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
With a “heave!”, and a “ho!”
But I just couldn’t tell her so, no, no, no
Well, get along, sweet little woman get along
On your way, get along, sweet little woman get along
On your way,
I’m in heat, I’m in love,
But I just couldn’t tell her
Well, we made a stop in Albequerque
She must’a thought I was a real cool jerk
Got off the train, and put her hands up
Lookin’ so good I couldn’t let her go
But I just couldn’t tell her so
I said, train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
Train kept a-rollin’ all night long
I’m in heat, I’m in love,
But I just couldn’t tell her
