Toto Just Played A Cover Song Just As Well As The Band That Wrote It – Is There Anything They Can’t Play!?!

Toto Returns The Favor!
Back in late May of this year, Weezer released an amazing cover of Toto’s iconic smash hit “Africa” and it was received extremely well. You can hear it below.
Not only were fans digging this cover, Toto themselves absolutely loved their rendition of the song and have had nothing but praise for Weezer. Since then, the two bands have had a bit of a friendly rivalry going on to see who can cover each other’s song the best, which is super awesome because at this point both bands are just cranking out amazing covers, and Toto have just given us one!
At a recent concert, Toto returned the favor to Weezer by covering their iconic song “Hash Pipe”. As you’ll hear, Toto can play this cover game, too. In fact, you might even say that Toto’s cover is just as good as the original recording, but were you really expecting anything less from such an amazing band as Toto?
