He Did It Again
Bruno Mars has always impressed us with his classic rock covers. From Michael Jackson to Led Zeppelin, the guy knows how to do justice to these iconic tunes. And now he takes on some of our favorites – “Proud Mary” and “Eye of the Tiger” and boy, he didn’t disappoint us one bit. Bruno Mars aka Peter Hernandez was born to perform. From a small age, he impersonated Elvis Presley in many on-stage acts while growing up in Hawaii. So, performing on the spot and having such a stage presence comes natural to him.
His music may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s hard to deny just how talented he is – he can sing, dance and play musical instruments. In the pop world, he definitely stands out and it’s easy to see why.
“The concept is that as long as we have our instruments and our mics, my band is able to kill anywhere… I think you hear me a lot. I’m a shit-talking guy living his dreams, and that’s what I wanted to give.” – Bruno Mars
There is also footage of him jamming out to many classic rock songs. One that we have found in the past is when he played “Whole Lotta Love” and absolutely slay’d it. It’s just mind blowing how on the spot he can just play whatever the audience throws at him, and do it with style. We just can’t get enough of his covers because they’re obviously far from mediocre. Check this out and you’d be blown away too.
