Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is set to release two new solo tracks this Friday, June 5 – “Knock Me Down” is a collaborative effort with Killvein while “Tops” features the South African rapper Push Push. Lee teased the songs on social media with the caption: “BIG NEWS… 2 songs out on Friday!” You can check out the promotional video below.
These will appear on Lee’s third solo album titled “Andro” which might be out this summer – it’s a follow-up to 2005’s “Tommyland: The Ride”. Lee told US Weekly, “I can’t wait. People are gonna bug.”
Tommy Lee initially dropped the news of his upcoming LP last September 2019, tweeting that it’s due on March. He wrote, “Finally …my new record is done and getting mastered now ….. lookin like a March release! Y’all gonna LOVE this! Been working on this for 2 years! Making sure everything is amazing for you! This is gonna be a flip! 2 sides 2 genres I’ll explain more later.”
Obviously because of the pandemic, he was forced to move the release date.
A few days ago, Mötley Crüe’s highly anticipated The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts was postponed. They rescheduled the extensive trek to 2021.
