Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are streaming their lengthy rendition of the 1964 Van Morrison classic “Gloria” from their album Live at the Fillmore 1997.

The song, which Them initially recorded, can be heard being sung by Petty and the band during their 20-night stint at the venerable San Francisco club. The Fillmore release is a tribute to the musicians and songs that influenced Petty’s love of music as he was growing up.

Highlights included renditions of songs originally released by Bob Dylan, J.J. Cale, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Everly Brothers, Bill Withers, Chuck Berry, and more, as well as guest appearances by The Byrds’ frontman Roger McGuinn and blues legend John Lee Hooker.

The band’s performances at the Fillmore turned out to be some of their most jovial, open, creative, and inspiring moments to date, forging a special bond with their audience. Petty told the crowd at the final show:

“We all feel this might be the highpoint of our time together as a group. It’s going to be hard to get us off this stage tonight.”

Live At The Fillmore 1997 is available in multiple configurations, including 2CD, 3LP, 4CD, 6 LP, digitally, and a 6LP Uber Deluxe Edition available exclusively on the Tom Petty webstore. Watch their newly-released video below.
