She’s Tiny, But She Is FIERCE!

Just 8 years old at the time of this video, Berkshire’s Zoe Thomson caused quite a fuss when the tiny rock and roller was filmed shredding along to “Stratosphere” by metal act Stratovarius! Her instructor at the Newbury Rock School called it a practice session, but the fact that something this quick and this complex functions as Zoe’s warm-up is nothing short of amazing and highlights just how talented this young lady is.

Fun Fact: Zoe’s been tapped by Daisy Guitars and added to their artist roster, and her talent’s been noticed by some of the most important figures in music today – Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, John Petrucci of Dream Theater, and even Metallica themselves!

If this is any indication of where the future of music is headed – Zoe and a generation of talented kids like her leading the charge in the pursuit of all things rock and roll, then we’re pretty sure the fate of rock and roll is in good hands! Rock on, Zoe!
