This Will Give You Chills

Michelle Kwan is a Guzheng player and she has obviously mastered the instrument. Also known as Chinese zither, this is a traditional plucked musical string instrument which dates back more than 2000 years ago. It contains at least 16 strings but the modern version often has 21. And in case you’re wondering, yes, this is sort of an ‘ancestor’ of other zither musical instruments. In fact, we’re probably thinking the same thing when you first saw it: “It looks a lot like the Korean gayageum.” Remember Luna Lee? 🙂

“I’ve seen Metallica live in concert twice. My childhood dream is to perform on the big stage like them. If they ever did a collaboration with a GuZheng, this is how I would imagine it to sound like.” — Michelle Kwan

Don’t forget to check this out. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. This is some seriously sweet music right here. Gotta love Michelle’s work!
