It took them 12 tries, but Megadeth finally won a Grammy for best metal performance for their song Dystopia. Hard rock and heavy metal bands have a history of being regularly snubbed at The Grammys. Fortunately, this years seems to have payed more homage the rock and metal community. It’s about time. Still, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for us. Metallica and Lady Gaga had a performance that was less than stellar, and Megadeth had a unique problem of their own.

Now, as per tradition, when an artist(s) receives a Grammy, a band will play music as the artist(s) make their way to the stage.
