Though The Who are deemed responsible for the creation of many other styles of music, the chaotic, rebellious, and angsty is what The Who are primarily known for. This argument could also be made even more so for lead guitarist Pete Townshend. Mr. Pete Townshend is often deemed responsible for the destructive personas that many guitarist have made their iconic image, and even several years after his illustrious debut, Pete Townshend still practices this exact persona.
