The Voice’s Natalia Sikora Opens With Soul Shaking Rendition Of ‘Cry Baby’!

You Won’t Believe Her Voice!

That opening note to Janis Joplin’s ‘Cry Baby’ is always a great indicator of whether or not a singer is able to do the song justice. The Voice of Poland’s season 2 winner Natalia Sikora did just that! With an interesting take on the song’s opening, Natalia and her raspy, bluesy voice had every judge turning around one by one to see exactly who that massive voice could have possibly come from!

‘Cry Baby’ is a song originally recorded by Garnet Mimms and the Enchanters, in 1963, and later covered by rock singer Janis Joplin.

I’ll admit – I wasn’t sure about Natalia’s ability to tackle such a huge song meant for a voice as big as Janis’, but the more she sang, the more I fell in love with her voice. She’s no Janis, but then again, no one is. However, Natalia’s got a voice that propelled her into the hearts of all five judges, whether they wanted her to or not!
