“If You Want Blood, You’ve Got It” is perhaps one of our favorite AC/DC classics. It’s epic and awesome in every way and you can’t help but fall in love with the great grooves and memorable riffs — something that the band is very famous for. This further propelled them to rock ‘n roll stardom, by the way.
Greg Prato of AllMusic notes, “While most other rock bands of the era were busy experimenting with disco or creating studio-perfected epics, AC/DC was one of the few specializing in raw and bluesy hard rock, as evidenced by 1978’s live set, If You Want Blood You’ve Got It.”
These kids, 18-year-old Jacob Deraps and 20-year-old Josh Gallagher, didn’t just give justice to the song. They made one sick cover! Oh and Jacob does the bass, guitar and vocal. We weren’t sure what to expect at the beginning of the video but man, the insane rendition hit us like a 22-inch frying pan. If you ever need anything other than coffee to slap you wide awake early in the morning, just turn your volume on max!
