Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac recently shared her thoughts about watching the Amazon Prime Video series Daisy Jones & The Six for the second time.
On August 15, she posted on social media about her thoughts following a second viewing of the program:
“Just finished watching [Daisy Jones & The Six] for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn’t really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story.”
She mentioned that the series brought back memories that made her feel like she was observing her own life from a distant perspective. The experience was quite emotional for her, and she expressed a wish that her fellow band member, Christine McVie, could have seen it too, as she would have enjoyed it. Nicks also expressed hope for the show’s continuation.
The bestselling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid is adapted into a limited series on Prime Video that is partially based on the history of Fleetwood Mac. It depicts the rise and fall of a fictitious band in the 1970s, much to Fleetwood Mac. Singers Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin) are the center of the program, which follows their journey through disagreements, conflicts, and accomplishments.
Discovering the Truth about Her Passing
Late in November 2022, Christine McVie, who was 79, passed away. Her family merely stated that she “passed away peacefully” in the hospital “following a short illness” in a statement at the time of her death; the cause of death was not given.
Following the publication of McVie’s death certificate in April of this year, a cause of death was identified. According to reports, having an ischemic stroke was the main factor in her demise. McVie’s death certificate states that she was also diagnosed with “metastatic malignancy of unknown primary origin,” which means that although cancer cells were found in her body, it was unclear where they had come from.
