Heart’s Ann Wilson Announces New Album “Another Door”

Heart singer Ann Wilson and her backing band Tripsitter are set to release a new album, Another Door, on September 29.

In a video announcement of the album, Wilson said:

“All these songs were written by me and some musicians of the finest caliber.
“And I think if you give it a listen, it’ll blow your mind. Will you walk through the door with us?”

The upcoming record will feature 11 tracks. Wilson is joined by the Tripsitter’s lineup composed by lead guitarist Ryan Wariner, bassist Tony Lucido, Paul Moak on guitar and keyboards, and Sean Lane on drums.

Meanwhile, the singer and her band are currently on a break from their North American tour that will resume in Hampton Beach, NH on August 23. Wilson launched the trek on July 7 in Toronto and will conclude on August 30 in Syracuse, New York.

In a previous interview, Wilson noted her plans to continue making music. She stated:

“The idea of retirement is nowhere in my comprehension.

“I don’t know what I’d do, because I’ve been doing music since I was, like, 14 years old. So it’s a calling with me more than a job that you retire from and then move to Margaritaville. I’m just not made like that.”
