Stevie Nicks and Harry Styles have formed an interesting friendship over the years. Nicks even said that Harry is “the son I never had.”

Nicks and Styles met in 2015 after a Fleetwood Mac concert. At Harry’s concert in 2017, he brought Nicks on stage and performed together. In 2019, Styles publicly announced his love for Nicks when he inducted her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The two did a few shows together since then.

Styles has always been open in saying that Nicks is one of his biggest music influences, but Nicks might have just given him the ultimate compliment.

After Nicks, listened to the ex-One Direction singer‘s second solo album, Fine Line, she commented that it sounded like The Beatles and even heard Fleetwood Mac.

The album dropped in 2019, and Nicks was surprised after listening to it saying:

“This record means a lot to me. When it was all put together, I listened and said, ‘Oh, my god, the Beatles live.’ A whole lot of people live in these songs. Fleetwood Mac lives there. I live there.

“When I listen to ‘Fine Line,’ I hear melodies that would’ve worked on ‘A Day in the Life.’ It has that same kind of complexity. I think the Beatles would’ve thought, ‘Here we’ve influenced a young man who took some incredible things from us and made them his own years and years later.'”
