“Anthony’s In The House!”
Steven Tyler is undeniably one of the coolest rock stars out there. He’s sold millions of records, performed in sold-out concerts, been a judge in one of America’s highest rated TV shows. He also lives in multi-million dollar mansions and drives fancy cars AND yet, he is always up for making fans extra happy. Remember the time when he joined a street musician in belting out one of his classics? Or when he stopped to try makeshift musical instruments? Yep, he’s insanely cool like that.
In a store in Niagara Falls, Ontario; a 24-year old Aerosmith superfan diagnosed with Down Syndrome Anthony Yorfido recognized Steven Tyler and ran up to him. He hugged him and of course, Steven hugged him back. Since Anthony and his mother didn’t have tickets for the show, Steven offered them backstage passes.
But wait, it doesn’t end there. During the concert, before rockin’ out to Sweet Emotion, Steven invited Anthony to come up on stage and play the maracas. So what did Anthony think? He said: ‘This is the best thing that ever happened to me in my life.’
