Don’t Know Where I’ll Be Tomorrow….

Performing on the Midnight Special in 1978, Journey really brings it home with classic “Wheel In The Sky” and brings the crowd to their feet!

“Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin, I don’t know where I’ll be tomorrow. Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin…”

Although Journey had already written this ballad after a poem titled “Wheels In My Mind” by bassist Valory’s wife, Steve joined the band a little while after and put his own spin on the song that catapulted it to the Top 100 in ’78.

Interesting Fact: Guitarist Neal Schon wrote the melody on acoustic guitar in the back seat of a station wagon while the band was driving between shows.

Steve’s distinguished vocals give us chills every time we hear him, but this performance is legendary with his amazing stage presence and natural talent.

Watch Steve bring everyone to their feet with the most contagious performance Journey has ever given!

+ Wheel In The Sky Lyrics +

Winter is here again oh lord,
Haven’t been home in a year or more
I hope she holds on a little longer
Sent a letter on a long summer day
Made of silver, not of clay
I’ve been runnin’ down this dusty road

Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’
I don’t know where I’ll be tomorrow
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’

I’ve been trying to make it home
Got to make it before too long
I can’t take this very much longer
I’m stranded in the sleet and rain
Don’t think I’m ever gonna make it home again
The mornin’ sun is risin’
It’s kissin the day

Oh the wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’
I don’t’ know where I’ll be tomorrow
Ooo the wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’
