There’s something raw and pure about Ronnie Van Zant’s isolated vocals. It’s hauntingly clear and beautiful on so many levels. It will give you goosebumps or move you to tears but one thing’s for sure, the depth of emotion Ronnie put in the song is just amazing. He sings with his heart and soul and his music is so alive and real. When his voice breaks, that made the song perfect. It’s a masterpiece. After listening to this, there’s a flood of good memories. What an amazing gift Ronnie had. I can’t help but be jealous of those who got to see his concerts. He is something else, like he’s not of this world.

This is a real gem. So much soul poured into the song and no one comes close to this. Ronnie’s one of a kind and I’m glad he shared his talent with us.
