A Scary Morning For Gregg Allman

It was a very scary morning indeed for rock legend Gregg Allman and his road crew, who were involved in a bus crash earlier this morning in Jackson County, West Virginia.

The crash occurred when the tour bus carrying 10 members of Allman’s road crew crossed the southbound lanes into oncoming traffic, went through a guardrail and over an embankment after the bus driver reportedly began choking, injuring three people who have since been treated at a local hospital and released.

Allman, 68, was on a separate tour bus at the time of the crash and will continue his tour as scheduled, including tonight’s show at the Clay Center in Charleston at 7:30 p.m.

Wow – we can’t even imagine how terrifying that must have been for everyone involved. We’re so glad everyone made it out safely and unharmed, and we wish Gregg Allman and his road crew safe travels from here on out.
