This girl just took a piece of my heart. I know Janis Joplin is irreplaceable and no one can rival how soulful and magical her voice was. BUT this is quite possibly the only thing that can come close to how Janis is vocally. It’s easily among the best Janis covers and it will send chills down your spine. Her raspy voice is absolutely powerful but controlled and I like that. You can’t help but be enchanted with this powerhouse performance. And dang, the energy is almost palpable. The flawless vocal work with that dirty edge is absolute perfection. I never would have guessed she had that incredibly beautiful voice.
She slayed this Janis classic and it will blow you away. It’s beyond amazing and she is one talented girl. It’s spot on. Now, everyone, this is HOW you do a cover song. Awesome job, please do more!
