Geddy Lee would be proud!

It’s amazing the sound Rush can make with 3 players, and 3 instruments. It seems nearly impossible that so much complex sound comes from only 3 guys, but they’ve proved us all wrong for the past 40 years! Now, imagine if Rush was just only one person, playing one instrument.

This concept is basically what YouTuber Jamie Dupuis brought to life when he covered the band’s classic hit “Closer to the Heart” on harp guitar. If you’ve been following this page for a while, you have to be familiar with Jamie. He’s a master of covering various classic rock songs on his unique instrument called the harp guitar. Jamie has the ability to cover both the guitar and bass parts at the same time, and makes it sound magnificent every time. This isn’t his first Rush song, so he has experience channeling Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson before!

Fun Fact: Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson says this is the ultimate Rush song. This is about people who run governments, and how they should be responsible for initiating harmony among themselves, just as blue collar workers do.
