Robert Plant Announce UK Tour And New Band

With the concert and touring industry slowly coming back after a year of being shut down, Robert Plant has announced a brief UK tour this year with his new band, Saving Grace. It kicks off on June 22 in Tentbury Wells and wraps up on July 31 at Cawthorne’s Underneath the Stars Festival.

Saving Grace features vocalist Suzy Dian, percussionist Oli Jefferson, and guitarist Tony Kelsey and Matt Worley. Plant debuted them in 2019 with a series of shows at small venues in England, Ireland, and Wales.

They were supposed to embark on their first US tour in 2020 but the pandemic has derailed their touring plans.

Meanwhile, Robert Plant is set to appear in the documentary film Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm. It features behind-the-scenes archival footage of artists like The Stones Roses, Oasis and Queen laying down songs in the legendary residential Welsh recording studio. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Rush also visited the studio at one point.
