Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Extend Tour Dates

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have confirmed in a new announcement an extended second leg of their 2022 tour. The duo will continue to hit the road through September.

The pair added 13 new dates to their itinerary, including stops at iconic venues such as the Red Rocks in Colorado, Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and Moody Amphitheater in Austin. The additional shows will be a part of their previously announced trek, which begins on June 3, it also includes a performance at the Bonnaroo music festival.

The summer leg marks as Plant and Krauss’ first tour together in more than a decade. They first joined forces for 2007’s Raising Sand, the acclaimed album that earned five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

The popularity of Raising Sand led Plant and Krauss to tour together throughout 2008 to 2009. In 2015, they’ve shared the stage performing as a headliner for the special event at the Kennedy Center honoring the legacy of Lead Belly.

Last November, the duo released their second collaborative album, Raise the Roof which also features their classic folk and Americana sound. In a recent interview, Plant admitted regarding the second LP with Krauss:

“There was a little bit of trepidation on my part.

“I wasn’t sure whether we could reinvoke what we had. But it was very short-lived, that question of whether or not it was real. It was like, I bow to her and she curtsies to me, and we see what we can do.”
