Jack White surely had a memorable night when he proposed to his then-girlfriend and singer Olivia Jean and marries her minutes later during his concert at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, April 8.

During the first night of the rocker’s Supply Chain Issues Tour in celebration of the release of his new album, “Fear Of The Dawn,” White invited Jean on stage to join him for a cover of the White Stripes’ 2001 song “Hotel Yorba.”

It was White’s opening act and the crowd was surprised when he proposed to Jean with a ring after singing the lyric “Let’s get married.”

While at the start of the encore, the newly-engaged couple took it one step further and tied the knot. Co-founder of White’s independent label Third Man Records, Ben Swank officiated the ceremony.

Their bass players took on the role of best man and maid of honor. White’s mother, Jean’s father, and members of their family and close friends are also present to witness the event as reported by the Detroit Free Press.

White posted on social media a snap of the proposal with the caption taken from a line from his song “Hotel Yorba,” quoting:

“Let’s get married in a big cathedral by a priest.”

Although, White doesn’t allow cellphones during his shows, some of the fans have snuck theirs and took a video of the magical moment. Watch some of the clips below.

Congratulations newlyweds!
