The World Has Lost Yet Another Influential Rock Legend…

It’s with heavy hearts that today we have learned that Phil Miller, world-renowned guitarist and member of many influential bands has passed away at the age of 68. As of right now, the cause of his death is unknown.

Born in Barnet, Hertfordshire on January 22, 1949, Miller would begin his storied career as a progressive rock & jazz guitarist recording and touring with many acts such as Delivery, Matching Mole, Hatfield and the North, National Health, & Short Wave just to name a few. Miller was incredibly influential in the Canterbury music scene. Friends, family, and fellow musicians have all taken to social media to express their condolences.

It truly goes without saying that Phil Miller was, is, and always will be regarded as one of the most underrated, yet important musicians in the entire rock scene. Words simply cannot express how saddened we are to hear this news. We will have more on this story as it develops. Rest in peace, Phil Miller. You will be missed!
