Rare Footage Shows Guns N’ Roses First Ever Concert—You Won’t Recognize Slash At All!

Guns N’ Roses career has been nothing short of amazing. The band has been through it all: success, failures, breakups, reunions, you name it. But it all had to start somewhere. In 1985 Guns N’ Roses formed in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to the release of their debut album Appetite For Destruction, Guns N’ Roses worked their way up to the top by performing small gigs.
We’ve dug up some footage of one of Guns N’ Roses’ first performance! Although the footage is kind of blurry, and may not be the cleanest, it’s pretty crazy to see the band in their earliest form!
In the footage, you can see young Axl Rose, Slash without a heat, and the other band members performing their song “Back Off Bitch.” The band sounds as great as ever, and if you were at this show, you would’ve had a feeling that this bad would be something big some day!
It’s pretty awesome to see the band in their earliest stage! We must admit that we couldn’t recognize Slash at first without his iconic top hat! Luckily he had a Les paul guitar, or else we wouldn’t have been able to find him at all!
