via Queen Official / Youtube

Queen is showing the last part of their look-back series called The Greatest Live. This bit is a quick video showing lots of moments, both famous and lesser-known – moments, that make people like Queen all over the world.

This is the 50th episode, which makes it 100 shows altogether when you count the first series they did in 2021. The video is only 5 minutes long but it packs in a lot. Simon Lupton, who puts the series together, made sure to include 100 big moments from Queen’s history. You’ll see stuff like when they first got big at the Rainbow Theatre in 1974, Freddie getting everyone hyped up at Wembley Stadium for Live Aid in 1985, and that cool moment when a helicopter flew over the crowd at Knebworth Park in 1986 for their last concert with Freddie.

But there’s also some fun stuff you might not know about unless you look really closely. Like, did you see Freddie sitting on Superman’s shoulders? Or the band having tea during their first tour of Japan in 1975? And there’s even a clip of them riding a train while making the video for “Breakthru” in 1989.

Furthermore, the series extends into the post-Freddie era, featuring clips of the band collaborating with Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert in the new millennium, where they reimagine their timeless hits with modern audio-visual enhancements.

Currently, Queen and Lambert are captivating audiences in Japan as part of the ongoing Rhapsody Tour.
