Oh man, I thought I was going to regret watching this. A few seconds into the video and my heart broke into pieces. She was inflicted with some serious viral illness which can be contagious. Canine distemper can affect several body systems of the dog including respiratory and gastrointestinal. I can’t describe how I felt when I saw the condition in which they found her. But you know, this story has a tragic beginning but a happy ending so don’t get all sad there. Her smile must be so rewarding to the rescuers. Watch her eyes light up — absolutely awesome. The medicines and other interventions may have treated her but nothing beats the compassion from those who took care of her. The way she wagged her tail — oh that joy for life. That was one priceless moment. It only shows that there are still good people out there. We definitely need more of them.
