Ozzy Osbourne Denies Rumor That He’s Already Dead

Ozzy Osbourne retorted a hoax circulating online about him passing away and confirmed how alive he is.

In a new podcast episode of The Osbournes podcast, the Prince of Darkness remarked to clear things up:

“I’m not dead.
“I’m not going any-fucking-where. And I’m gonna go up and do some more gigs before I’m finished anyway.”

The singer also explained:

“The thing on YouTube, it’s got ‘Celebrities Who Have Died Today,’ and there’s a picture of me
“And I go, ‘I’m not dead. I’m not really dead … Just a little flesh wound,’” the rocker continued, jokingly quoting Monty Python. “It’s a bit fucking much, isn’t it?”

Ozzy also mentioned how clickbait works and how they are strategically posted to avoid potential lawsuits. He added:

“What they do is, they kind of say you’re dead-ish.
“It’s kind of weird the way they word it.”

His wife Sharon then said about the creators of the death hoax videos on the internet:

“There’s so many sick fuckers out there”

While their son, Jack, jokingly suggested:

“We’ll do the Viking burial.
“I’ll shoot a flaming arrow on your raft.”

Ozzy’s Current Health State

Although Ozzy is alive and doing well, there’s less possibility that fans will see him perform on stage again. Following his last successful spinal surgery in September, Ozzy said he wants to make a new solo album in 2024. However, Jack admitted in a previous interview:

“I don’t think he’ll tour again. But he’s gunning to do one-off shows—like festivals, gigs, things like that. He’s not done yet!”

Jack shared that his father is doing “really well.” He added:

“There were a few hiccups, but he’s doing good. He’s got no more pain, no more nerve issues.”
