It’s Been Quite An Adventure

The ups and downs of their relationship has been well-documented but Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne rose above the trials and hardships. On July 4, heavy metal’s power couple celebrated 39 years of marriage. They got married in Maui, Hawaii on July 4, 1982.

Sharon took to social media to mark the milestone. She posted a photo of the pair on their wedding day.

“Thank you for 39 years. For the most incredible life together. (emisorasunidas.com) The crazy, wonderful and insane times,” she wrote. “Yes, pain and sorrow too, but we got through it. We worked so hard for years professionally and personally. We succeed together.”

“You are my soul, my life. What a fantastic life we have lived so far, the best thing is there’s more to come,” she continued. “Every day is an adventure, every day I love you more and respect you more. My soulmate, my love and my friend here’s to our next adventure! Love you always ~ Sharon.”

To say that they’ve been through a lot is an understatement. When he hit rock bottom, it was Sharon who helped him get back up. In 1989, Ozzy tried to strangle her – something he’d confessed years later. And in 2016, Ozzy got caught cheating with hairdresser Michelle Pugh and he even went to therapy for sex addiction.

“If it wasn’t for my wife Sharon, I wouldn’t be here now,” Ozzy admitted in a 2019 interview. “I wouldn’t be alive.”
