He Called On People For Solidarity
In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx took to Instagram to express his thoughts on the pandemic that has infected over 180,000 people worldwide. He said, “Wouldn’t it be great to see people stop self promoting right now and turn towards friends & family instead? Reach out to people around you who might be scared or need help. Also,do we really need more fear mongering? The news is doing a great job at that already… Maybe find a way to dampen down the hysteria.”

According to the World Health Organization, there are a couple of things you can do to prevent transmission. First is to wash your hands regularly with soap and water. If it’s not available, hand sanitizer or alcohol will suffice. Second, maintain social distancing which means keeping at least three feet distance between you and anyone who’s sneezing or coughing. Third, you should avoid touching your mouth, eyes, and nose.
According to WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, “We’re in this together to do the right things with calm and protect the citizens of the world. It’s doable.”
