Metallica Finally Meets and Jams Eddie Munson Actor In Lollapalooza

It is undeniable that Metallica‘s inclusion in the Netflix hit series, Stranger Things gave them a massive attention. Although the band and their songs are already known, especially to the heavy metal music fans, the show actually helped them reach out to the younger generation.
Their classic “Master of Puppets” was included in the season four of the popular hit series. The song was performed by the character of Eddie Munson in the show’s “upside down” alternate universe during an attempt to help his friends vanquish a demon named Vecna.
The song entered the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the first time in its history. Following the news, there comes the TikTok duet video of Metallica to that iconic scene. Weeks after, a new version of a lyric video was released. Now, it was followed by a real jamming session from the two acts.
Metallica met the actor behind the character of Eddie Munson, Joseph Quinn, and it wasn’t only just a meeting. The two jammed together prior to the band’s headlining performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago last July 28. The group can be seen raving about the series prior to Quinn in a newly-released video of the backstage meeting from the event.
