Marking Meat Loaf’s 13th And Most Recent Album, ‘Braver Than We Are’ Hit Stores Two Years Ago Today

The date was April 27th, 2013 when multi-platinum recording artist Meat Loaf officially announced on The Jonathan Ross Show that he had begun working with longtime partner Jim Steinman on a brand new album. That album would go on to be called ‘Braver Than We Are’, the most recent album by both Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman.
Comprised of 10 songs all written by Jim Steinman, ‘Braver Than We Are’ featured a slew of iconic singers such as Cian Coey, Stacy Michelle, Ellen Foley, and Karla DeVito.
Fun fact: ‘Braver Than We Are Was’ Originally slated to be titled ‘Brave & Crazy’. “Braver Than We Are” was originally the name of a song off the same album. That song would later be renamed “Going All the Way (A Song in 6 Movements)” which would still be featured on the album.
The album was officially released on the 9th of September in Europe, and on the 16th in the US in 2016. The album found success and charted at the top ten slot two different countries.
This album was, is, and always be a treasure to us fans of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman. The two are a match made in heaven and we can’t wait to hear many more collaborations to come!
