A New Single From Lou Gramm

Legendary singer Lou Gramm, best known as the original voice of Foreigner and a 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has released a new single titled “Young Love.” The track is the first from his upcoming solo album, Released. The song brings a straightforward rock sound built on classic AOR elements, featuring strong vocals and driving guitars that reflect the feelings of early romance.

“Young Love” sets the tone for the album, which is rooted in the style that made Gramm a standout voice in rock music. Fans of his work with Foreigner will find familiar energy in the track, while its fresh release creates excitement for what the full album will deliver.

About the Album Released

Released is set to arrive on March 27, 2026. CD editions will be issued through HNE Recordings and Cherry Red Records, while vinyl versions will come from Friday Music. The album contains ten original songs that Gramm co-wrote with Bruce Turgon, his longtime bandmate from Black Sheep.

While the material draws from the period that helped define Gramm’s career, it also carries a reflective tone. A promotional tour is planned for later in the summer, with full headlining dates expected to be announced soon.

Gramm on the Project

Gramm spoke about how the album came together and why it matters to him. “My new album Released is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my three previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it’s a real nostalgia trip. When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete.”

Gramm produced the album himself, shaping its sound and guiding each track to match his vision.
