Get Well Soon Gene!

Fans of the band Kiss have expressed concern for Gene Simmons after the bassist appeared to fall ill during a performance in Brazil. The band was playing the opening night of their End Of The Road final world tour in Manaus when Simmons had to take a seat near the back of the stage during the song Say Yeah. Paul Stanley, the frontman of the band, told the audience that they had to stop to take care of Simmons and promised to see everyone later. However, the band did return to the stage and completed a 17-song set without further incidents.

According to local music journalist Igor Miranda, the hot temperatures in the area may have been the reason for Gene Simmons’ illness during Kiss’s performance. Miranda pointed out that the temperature reached 31°C the day before the show. Given that Gene was wearing heavy makeup and stage costumes, and performing amidst smoke and fire, it’s understandable that he may have felt uncomfortable due to the heat.
