The music video for the song, directed by Marty Callner, features the first appearance of Alicia Silverstone in the band’s videos, as well as the band performing in the Central Congregational Church in Fall River, Massachusetts.
The lyrics talked about a roller coaster type of relationship. It was great at the beginning but eventually, it only got worse. To get more scenes into the video, the band added an extra chorus. In this particular cover version, Julia Evers did justice to the song. She has an amazing voice and her rendition is mesmerizing!
Steven Tyler cites this as a song that shows the country influence on Aerosmith. “Listen to the lyrics,” he told Rolling Stone. “It was country – we just Aerosmith’d it.”
